So titelt die jüngste Aktion von Avaaz.org. Wir wollen 1 Million Unterschriften sammeln. In den ersten 24 Stunden haben schon knapp 200.000 Menschen für Menschenrechte und gegen Genozid in Tibet votiert.
„After decades of repression, Tibetans are crying out to the world for change. China’s leaders are right now making a crucial choice between escalating brutality or dialogue that could determine the future of Tibet, and China.
We can affect this historic choice — China does care about its international reputation. But it will take an avalanche of global people power to get the government’s attention. The Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, has called for restraint and dialogue: he needs the world’s people to support him. Fill out the form below to sign the petition–and spread the word.“

Ich bin tief berührt von der Arbeit von Avaaz.
Dass es diese gibt, bestätigt meine Überzeugung, dass wir es noch schaffen, ALLE in gegenseitigem Respekt und Achtung vor allem Leben zusammen zu kommen.
Die Arbeit von Avaaz und anderen, die sich in einer solchen Art in den Dienst stellen, ist der effektivste Weg dahin!
Danke euch allen, die ihr eine solche Arbeit macht, und danke auch allen, die sich dafür öffnen und diese Arbeit unterstützen!
Ich fühle mich in tiefer Liebe mit euch verbunden.

Wenigstens das kann ich als Einzelperson machen.
Ich fühle mich so hilflos und habe eine solche Wut im Bauch über das, was in Tibet passiert.
Aber wieviel Millionen Stimmen müssen zusammen kommen, damit China überhaupt aufmerksam wird?
Was kann man noch machen?????
